Technology Frequently Asked Qustions (FAQ)

Unfortunately, printing is not available over Wifi. If you have a document on your phone, please bring the cable for your phone with you to the library. If you have the document on Google Drive, OneDrive or DropBox.com, please bring your login credentials.

 

If you have emailed the document to yourself, please make sure you have the credentials to your email AND your phone with you in the event you have 2 factor authentication (2FA) turned on.

This will depend on a number of factors.

  • First we would need to know whether your computer is running Linux, macOS, Windows or ChromeOS.
  • Next, we would need to establish whether you are wanting to use free or paid software.
  • Finally, while our Technology Coordinator may suggest software to you, this in no way implies that the Eaton Rapids Area District Library is endorsing the software.

Please be aware of our updated hours

Our hours are:

Monday, Tuesday and Friday 10:00 am - 5:30 pm
Wednesday and Thursday 10:00 am - 7:00 pm
Saturdays 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
At the August Library Board Meeting, it was unanimously decided to require masks for anyone inside the building over the age of 2, regardless of vaccination status.
We are open to the public at FULL capacity. Access to our computers in the building is limited to 2 hours per day per person. Please be patient as we get our remaining computers from storage and updated for public use.
