We are utilizing Chrome Remote Desktop to allow our Technology Coordinator to connect to your computer remotely. Please make sure you at least have Google Chrome installed prior to making a remote support appointment.

Technology Frequently Asked Qustions (FAQ)

At the current moment, we are not setup to have you print from your own device. We do have several workarounds for this.

  1. Save your image or document to a usb thumb drive. Bring it to the Library and and use it to print your documents from one of our public computers. If no computers are available, a staff member may be able to assist you in printing directly at the copier.
  2. Email the document to yourself. Login to your email on one of the public computers and print the document from there.

This will depend on a number of factors.

  • First we would need to know whether your computer is running Linux, macOS, Windows or ChromeOS.
  • Next, we would need to establish whether you are wanting to use free or paid software.
  • Finally, while our Technology Coordinator may suggest software to you, this in no way implies that the Eaton Rapids Area District Library is endorsing the software.

Our hours are:

Monday, Tuesday and Friday 10:00 am - 5:30 pm
Wednesday and Thursday 10:00 am - 7:00 pm
Saturday 10:00 - 3:00 pm
We are open to the public at reduced capacity. Access to our computers in the building are limited to 1 hour per day per person.
