The Friends of Eaton Rapids Area District Library is a dedicated group of library supporters who believe in the power of libraries to educate, inspire, and strengthen our community. Through advocacy, fundraising, and volunteer efforts, the Friends work to enhance and sustain the library’s vital services and programs.
What We Do:
- Advocate for the Library: We promote the value of the Eaton Rapids Area District Library and ensure it remains a cornerstone of knowledge, culture, and community connection.
- Fundraising & Support: Through book sales, special events, and donation campaigns, we raise funds to support library initiatives, including program expansion, technology upgrades, and facility improvements.
- Volunteer & Engage: Our members contribute their time and talents to assist with library events, literacy programs, and special projects that enhance the library experience for all ages.
How We Make a Difference:
- Supporting the Library’s Capital Campaign to renovate and improve library spaces.
- Providing funding for programs that promote literacy, education, and lifelong learning.
- Organizing community events that bring people together through the love of books and knowledge.
- Encouraging public awareness and advocacy for strong library services.
