How to Use the 24/7 Library Lockers

Enjoy safe, contactless pickup of your library items any time—day or night!

Step 1: Reserve Your Items Online

  1. Visit our online catalog (OPAC)
  2. Search for the items you want to reserve
  3. Click “Reserve”
  4. Log in when prompted:
    • Username: Your library barcode
    • Password: userpass
  5. When asked for a pickup location, select “ERADL–Lockers”

Wait for a notification that your items are ready before heading to the lockers.

Step 2: Pick Up Your Items at the Lockers

  1. Go to the lockers located in the alley behind the library
  2. On the screen, select “Enter Account Number”
  3. You can:
    • Manually enter your library card number
    • Scan your physical library card
    • Use the Librarista app to scan your barcode from your phone
  4. Tap Continue
  5. Choose “Select All” or tap individual items
  6. Tap “Check Out”

Your locker door will automatically open—grab your items!

  1. Close the locker door
  2. Tap “Done” on the screen
  3. You may request an email receipt if desired

Eaton Rapids Area District Library is proud to be a recipient of the Libraries Transforming Communities: Accessible Small and Rural Communities grant, an initiative of the American Library Association.

This funding has made it possible for us to install 24/7 Library Lockers, offering safe, contactless pickup of library materials—especially for those who are immunocompromised or face health-related accessibility challenges.
